Thankful

November 27, 2015~ Etc.

I see all these round-ups of Black Friday deals all over the web, posting their affiliate links in hopes they’d make some money, and I am grateful for people like them who take all that time in posting plethora of deals because I look at those lists and I’m like, “There’s no way I’d do all that!” haha.
I just wanted to say I am so grateful on this Thanksgiving day as it’s coming to an end, and everyone was well fed and they’ve all fallen asleep, and I am sitting here peacefully, all alone, a moment to myself. It’s easy to get caught up in life and the momentum of our day to day tasks, but every night as I review my day and how it was spent, the moments that I remember are the moments that I spend playing and laughing with my kids, cuddling with my husband, seeing the joy in my family’s faces as they enjoy the dinner I cooked, their silly dance moves from our dance parties on the kitchen floor, a nice text I send to my friends or a treat I dropped off at a neighbor. It’s not the moments that I spent time blogging, answering e-mails or buying something online, or trying to make money, checking Instagram to see how many likes and comments I received, or even checking to see how many orders I received today from my shop.
So I am grateful for my family, my relationships with others, I am grateful that I don’t have an ounce of hatred in my heart, for my peaceful conscience, and I am most of all so grateful for God, who loves me unconditionally and is always on my side being my biggest cheerleader. Without him, I know I am nothing.
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and remembered all the things you are thankful for!
Love, Sarah
