Bidding on a House…
This is the picture of the living room of the house, sorry, this was the best one I could find.
So it’s almost 2 a.m but Jay and I can’t seem to fall asleep. We put in an offer today for a home and we’ll find out tomorrow or the next day (most likely tomorrow) if our offer goes through or not. We saw the house last Saturday and we both fell in love with it, which is surprising since Jay and I look at different things. For Jay, it’s more about structure and how it’s built, while for me it’s more like is it homey and cute. Jay even got frustrated with me last time when we went to go see this other house and I told him I didn’t like it because it had dark brown window panels and garage and just a dark atmosphere in general. Well, the house was evicted so it was trashed, and I mean it when I say trashed. Jay didn’t even let me or baby go inside because it wasn’t sanitary with black molds all over the walls, and dog feces piled in one room. Yeah do you blame me for not liking it? ^ ^
It’s so funny how Jay and I see things in different perspectives on most things, and we’re both very opinionated thus we can go for hours trying to get the other to agree with one another but at the same time, I’m glad because we help each other be more open-minded, and we always end up making a wiser, better decision together.
So pray for us!!!
Adi’s Baby Blessing
We had Adi’s baby blessing two sundays ago and guess who came and surprised us! Jay’s parents and his youngest brother, Mikey! We didn’t think they were coming since we decided on it two weeks before and his mom said they weren’t gonna make it, but they secretly had bought their plane tickets and didn’t tell us a thing until they showed up at Jay’s work and then showed up at our house to surprise me. (Apparently they came to our house and knocked and rang the door bell earlier but me being me, I didn’t hear a sound.)
It was so good seeing them and we had a blast spending the weekend with them. They helped us a ton with buying food, making food, cleaning, and most of all, being there when Jay gave a beautiful blessing to Adi. I realized even more than before how great and important families are. I always tell Jay how fortunate we both are that we have such a wonderful family and I’ll be eternally grateful that Jay comes from such a loving, spiritual, tight, caring family. No wonder why Jay is one of the greatest father I have ever met. I owe that to his parents.
Close to 60 people came to the blessing and to the dinner later that night. Thanks everyone for making it memorable for us!!!
And Jay’s parents took us snowmobiling! How cool is that! Thank you and we love you!
Adi Laughing
Adi loves to see mommy laugh. Whenever I start cracking up, she starts cracking up with me. I just hope she isn’t laughing at me, but laughing with me instead.
p.s: don’t mind my annoying fake laughs. But it was necessary. 😉
Adi is Talkin’!!!
This is a typical day for Adi. She sure loves to talk these days and even though I have no idea what she’s saying, she sure seems to know what she’s saying. The video is sideways for a few secs. but it turns back to normal.
