Disney Cruise Alaska day two

September 8, 2014~ Etc.

Welcome to day 2 of our Disney Cruise!  The Disney Cruise service was top of the notch.  Jay and I went on a Carnival cruise for our honeymoon 7 years ago but that cruise does not compare to the Disney Cruise.  I honestly have no desire to go on a cruise other than the Disney Cruise, once you experience the best, you just can’t go downhill from there.  I loved how they had room cleaning twice a day.  Yes, twice in one day!  The second time they would clean our room, they would drop off the schedule for the following day which looks like this.  This schedule is for the 2nd day of our cruise.  Click on the picture to view full size.
as you can see, every hour/half an hour is filled with activities for everyone of all ages.  It’s awesome!
We started the day with the Character Breakfast.
Mickey Mouse shaped waffles!
our waiter made all of us funny hats made out of the napkins.
My SIL Jaymie is an avid Disney fan.  Like the biggest Disney fan I’ve ever known.  This is pretty much what her face looked like the whole time on the cruise.
then it was time for the Jack Race.  Aiden was runner #1.
there were people watching from every floor, it was quiet the crowd!
Aiden was loving all the attention and the noise and kept laughing.
and off they go!
and instead of coming to me or Jay, he went straight to the lady.  he loves people and is so friendly.
and he crosses the line!

After he won the first race, the other contestants raced so the winner could compete with Aiden.

but the baby has no interest in starting the race! πŸ˜€  but she wins and gets to race the final round.

Even though he didn’t win, this was my favorite race because he showed such good sportsmanship! by stopping in his tracks and clapping for the other contestant!  We were so proud of him.
he’s still clapping for the winner. πŸ™‚
BINGO BABY!! We love bingo!
Josh and Jaymie at the character drawing class.
craft class: making a race car with vegetables.
then racing it to see whose is the fastest!
craft class: mask making class.
I ordered seafood almost every meal.  I was in heaven!
all the cousins looking nice for our formal night.
Aiden’s cousin loved him and wanted to hold him all the time and he was loving it.
“Mommy look, it’s a sea shell!”
I didn’t order all these food guys, I took pictures of everyone else’s food too.
remember that date I went on with my daughter and she couldn’t stop laughing about the man in a diaper?  she apparently misses him dearly because she mimics his pose all the time.  She always tells me he’s my boyfriend.

I wish I could read his mind and know what he was thinking at that moment.  Look at that face!  I have no idea what he’s thinking!
grandma and all her grandkids.
Every night they have a show/entertainment but we are not allowed to take pictures inside the theater.  This night was the Golden Mickey.  All the shows are amazing and well written and executed.  The shows are similar to Disney on Ice without the ice-skates but the show’s even better than Disney on Ice!
we started every morning and ended every night with family prayer.
While the kids were sleeping and my MIL watched the kids, we went and watched Captain America.
We never took pictures of this but every night we would go on the deck and get an ice-cream cone or two before they turned off the self serving ice-cream machine at 2 a.m.
and these party animals stayed up late while I went to bed, exhausted.  A vacation with 3 kids is far from relaxing and you sleep less than normal, but it sure is so much fun.
The next post is our arrival in Tracey Arm, Alaska!

Disney Cruise Alaska day one

September 4, 2014~ Etc.

This is day one of our Disney cruise to Alaska.  It was a 7 day cruise so there will be 7 posts, I am sorry there’s so many!  I tried to do day one and two together in one post, but it was just so many pictures, it was too overwhelming.  Also, some pictures are good quality while some are really crappy, taken with my phone or when too dark.  But this was my favorite family vacation we’ve taken so far and I told Jay we have to go back at least once more when the kids are a little older so that they’ll all remember it!  Poor Aiden will just have to remember through pictures. πŸ™‚
about to board the cruise!
Adi couldn’t contain her excitement and ran towards the ship.
this is how they welcome each family/group, it sure made us feel special!

leaving the beautiful Vancouver.
Jay and I made these sweatshirts.  It took us over 25+ hours to embroider for our family and Jay’s whole family.
this is a part of the Kid’s club.  I found it had too many electronics but it was catered more towards older kids.
all you can eat style every meal, everyday! YOLO!

Jay’s sister Kat and her cute family.

My cutest nephew!
My adorable niece and grandpa
Dinner switches off to a different restaurant every night with different themes and menus.  The first night was at the Animations Palace.

Jay’s two brothers

Ana fell sleep on grandpa.
I had a Mickey bar every day! YOLO.

meeting Princess Rapunzel & Tiana

the kids were all hashed from their adventures on the first day of the Disney cruise.
Our theme for the trip was YOLO, you only live once.  When we ordered room service at 1:30 a.m, we would shrug our shoulders and say “Yolo!”, when we ordered two appetizers, two main entrees and two desserts for one meal(I’m talking about you, Jay) and everyone was like, “You are going to eat all that?”  Jay would reply, “Yolo!”, and when I would order 8 servings of steamed crab, I would tell everyone at the table, “YOLO!!!”

Disney Alaska Cruise part one- Vancouver, Canada

August 28, 2014~ Etc.

We went on a Disney Cruise to Alaska this Summer.  Get ready for some Disney Cruise pictures overload, because there will be part one to at least part four!  The cruise boarded in Vancouver, Canada so we stayed there for an extra day to explore.
we stayed at the smallest hotel ever.  Let’s just say it sure was intimate and cozy. πŸ™‚

Japadog was delicious!  Everything we tried on that street was good, including pho’, and Korean B.B.Q bowl.

This is about the time when Adi started getting into photo bombing.

we went to The Candy Aisle and everyone was in heaven, especially Jay who got these ridiculously sour candies.

we found a Korean market and found two of my favorite things: Korean bakery bread and this vanilla ice-cream cone!  It is the best vanilla ice-cream you will ever eat, and I used to eat it all the time growing up in Korea but never found one in the States, but found it in Canada!  Canada, I love you already.

we ate delicious pastries for breakfast the next morning before heading off to board the ship!

on our way to board the ship!

I just realized after posting these pictures that half of these are of food.  That’s how we roll, YOLO!  That was the theme of our whole Disney Cruise trip, YOLO.  You only live once.  Jay and I felt old when Jay’s little brother Mike texted that to us and we were like, “What the heck is YOLO?” and Mike had to explain what it meant.  So just be aware, we went YOLO and you’ll see lots of pictures of food. πŸ˜‰
Stay tuned for Part two next week!
