Disney Cruise Alaska day 7 – the last day!

April 29, 2015~ Etc.

My very last post of the Disney cruise from last Summer!  I am so on top of things, aren’t I? hahaha

I ate bacon every morning for breakfast. Have I mentioned I gained 3 lbs. while on the Disney cruise? Worth every ounce! 😉

Aiden competed in the baby crawling race once again.  But this time, he had no interest in doing so, poor guy.  We pulled him out mid-race and let the other baby win.

Aiden loves auntie Kat!

Words cannot justify how much I love this boy.

The girls all dressed up fancy to go to the Princess tea party!

this is my favorite picture of her, she is so theatrical and hilarious and this captures it so well.

The beautiful princess dresses by Little Dress Up Shop, they were kind enough to send us these two dresses for my girls to wear on the cruise, and my girls loved it so much.  Their dresses are comfortable, beautiful and budget-friendly, and it was just as pictured and exactly what I expected. Thank you Little Dress Up Shop!

Princess Ariel and Princess Tiana!

with the Captain of the ship.

who wore it best, guys?

taking some souvenirs home.

okay guys, if you guys ever go on the Disney cruise, you have to get the room service and get the Mickey’s ice cream bar and their chocolate chip cookies and make an ice-cream sandwich!  It is so good!
I don’t even care I look like a crazy vampire in this picture, I was ready to dig in!
My brother in law took this picture of me going to get a plateful of food before their midnight buffet ended.  I got caught!
We are saving up money to go on the Disney cruise again, it really was a dream!  I don’t ever want to go on another cruise again, except for the Disney cruise.  We’ve been to the Princess Carnival on our honeymoon to Mexico and it doesn’t compare to the Disney cruise.  We want to go again(somewhere warm this time) when our boy is a little bit older, and I can’t wait!  Thank you for following on our adventure, all 7 posts of them!

Disney Cruise Alaska day 6

January 9, 2015~ Etc.

So I never completed our Disney Cruise to Alaska trip blog posts, and I just know you guys wondered, “When is Sarah going to post the rest of the Disney Cruise pics?” every single day of your lives, so here it is, don’t fret! 😉

I also realized I mixed up the days a little bit on Disney Cruise day 5 so I updated it if you’d like to take a look.

Our stop on day 6 was in Ketchiken.  Creek Street was built along the shores of Ketchikan Creek, it was built over the water because it was simply too difficult to blast away the rocky hills surrounding the creek.

I look ghostly but the girls gave me flowers every 3 mins. on our walk!

here

then back on the cruise for a formal dinner!

hahaha.  we’re cheap to buy the photo the photographer took so we took a picture of the screen.  Same quality, right? 😉
shh….  we weren’t suppose to take pics at the night show and I didn’t take any the whole week but this was my favorite show, the Toy Story!  I took out my phone and quickly snapped one picture, shh…  They said this play took 3 years in the making.  It was awesome, and the costumes were impressive.

Then we finished the night with a little date, we walked around the cruise, checked out the Disney store,  saw some beautiful artwork, and ordered Mickey bars room service and ate it while sitting in the hallway since the kids were sleeping in the rooms.  The life of a parent!  But I’m not complaining, the Disney Cruise was a dream.

Disney Alaska cruise day 5

October 13, 2014~ Etc.

Off on an adventure to explore Juneau, the capital of Alaska!  Juneau is the second largest city in the U.S by area.
let’s just say I’m glad I’m not the third person up.

The Mendenhall Glacier.  The glacier is 12 miles long, protected as the 5,815-acre Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area.

here

I literally ordered 9 servings of crabs. hehe
trying to get a picture by myself but the kids won’t let me!
finally, my brother in law snapped this while the kids were distracted.  Wearing a Mickey Mouse t-shirt in my Minnie mouse ears, eating a Mickey bar. 😉

just made it in time for ice-cream before the machine turned off at midnight!

Disney Alaska Cruise day 4

October 2, 2014~ Etc.

I’ve been just spewing out blogs left and right!  I have so many fun posts I need to put up, I hope you don’t mind. 🙂
This is our Disney Alaska Cruise day 4.  We arrived in Skagway, our very first stop where we were allowed to get out of the ship.

Day 4 was filled with lots of activities.  We went rafting, ate the best fish & chips and steamed king crabs for lunch, and while Jay and my in-laws watched the kids(Jay had no desire to go zip lining no matter how much I tried to convince him!), the siblings went zip lining.  For some reason I thought we would just start and stop at our end destination when we zip-lined but this was a stop and go, where we had 5 different destinations and each had a different style of zip lining you can do such as falling straight down backwards as you start, trying to somersault and spin in a ball as much as you can(I got 4 spins!), and going upside down.  Then we had awesome dinner on the cruise and then the  night show of Toy Story(it was my favorite- but no pictures were allowed), then watched Maleficent to end the night!  It was an eventful day and boy was I glad to get in bed that night!

Disney Alaska Cruise day three

September 24, 2014~ Etc.

hahaha, we were trying to look serious and tough but we look pissed off.

On day three of the Disney Cruise, we arrived in Tracy Arm, Alaska, our first destination.  While we didn’t get to get out of the ship, we enjoyed the scenery as the cruise stopped for a few hours.  It was cold but wasn’t as cold as I thought it would be.  It was beautiful!  We looked over as we sat on the decks eating soup in a bread bowl.  We took family pictures too in our shirts & sweatshirts we designed for our family reunion(Josh & Jaymie designed the t-shirts, Jay and I designed the sweatshirts), and we tried to take pictures of just our little family but Ana was mad over something and was crying the whole time.  If you see the pictures, Adi is pretending to cry and imitating Ana which made Ana more mad and cried some more.  Family pictures are so hard!
Day four of the cruise is our stop in Skagway where we go rafting and zip lining!
