DIY WOMEN’S SUIT TO DRESS REFASHION || How to Refashion Clothes

May 26, 2017~ SEWING, YOUTUBE VIDEOS

Watch my tutorial below to see how I changed this women’s size 6 pant suit into a dress appropriate for work! I cannot take credit for this refashion idea for it is the talented Miriam’s Instagram page @sewingpolarbear that I saw it and fell in love with it. I’ve made shorts/pants into skirts before but to think of using the bottom of the leg trousers to make a top piece! Genius! So thank you Miriam for your creativity! Everyone go check out her Instagram for her other amazing sewing DIY’s!

I barely used the jacket, I only took out the buttons and the wrist-ties so I have a whole jacket left that I didn’t cut up! I will be thinking of something to refashion it into, but do you have any ideas what I could make it into?

FEATURED

May 17, 2017~ SEWING

Hello everyone that’s old and new! Welcome! It has been a crazy whirlwind the past week being featured on so many sites, I feel so honored and excited!

I’ve been featured on big sites before such as Buzzfeed(6 times!) for my Urban Outfitters Knockoff, Anthropologie Knockoff, my orange lace dress, my orange dress again, ruffled cardigan DIY, my cardigan again but never all at once within one week!

I listed it all on here for mostly myself so I have a record of these features. Thank you so much for joining me and check out my new YouTube channel and follow me on Instagram for behind the scenes and sneak peeks!

It all started when My Modern Met featured me in April which was a total surprise

Then featured on some other sites:

on A News

On Queminova

Then a news wire company contacted me after seeing the My Modern Met article and asked me if they could write an article about me. The day they published it, literally within a few hours, it was picked up by Dailymail.

I was featured in the Dailymail

(they never linked to any of my sites though, boo!)

Then the rest is history!
