My girls and I were triplets in our Mexican dresses to church last Sunday.  I love the embroidered detail, it’s even more exquisite in person!  I altered my dress and posted the tutorial last week, and it’s become one of my favorite Summer dresses.  I mostly wear dresses in the Summer because it’s so much more comfortable than pants or shorts and it’s so much cooler!  Anyone else a dress-wearing lover like me?

My daughter let me dress her again and I told her she could pick any shoes she wanted and she picked her adorable moccasins from Freshly Picked.  She says she doesn’t even feel like she has shoes on because it’s so light!  It’s her go-to shoes when she wants to be the most comfortable.  As for my dress, I’ve always been obsessed with embellishments and embroidery and I’ve been noticing they are in trend now.  This dress is from Eshakti which they graciously offered for me to try and I got to custom size this dress and change the length of the dress.  This dress fits me perfectly!  Many dresses on their site you can add and change the sleeve type, the length, and the necklines, it’s pretty awesome.  Use OurlifeS to get 10% OFF, valid until 6/28/14.

Our dog Achilles has been hanging outside all the time because he’s shedding like crazy due to the hot weather.  I feel like an even worse dog owner that he never gets to come inside the house.  Do you like his Sunday best? 😉

Remember when I posted about hiding my kids from the internet?  Well, as you can see, I post quiet a bit of pictures of my son on this blog.  I wrote that blog post two months before he was born and while I was mainly talking about my two girls, I thought the rule would also pass down to my son as well once he was born.  But for some reason, I feel very okay with posting pictures of my son on here.  The reason I do not know, but unlike my girls where I felt a little iffy about posting detailed, close-up, high-resolution images of them, it’s the opposite, I feel somewhat encouraged, and at peace posting his pictures.  Maybe it’s because he’s still an infant?  I wish I had the answer.  But all I know is that I am following my gut feelings and if I feel at peace posting pictures, then I’m okay with that.  I still post pictures of my girls on here too sometimes, most of the time it’s with my phone and it’s from a distant, and I feel safe doing that.  The post I mentioned earlier never said I would stop posting any pictures of my kids, just that I will be more cautious and aware and not post any pictures(that are close-up, high resolution images of my girls) or information that will later embarrass them or feel like I invaded their privacy. 

So for now, you’ll see pictures of my son.  But could anyone complain about that? 😉

I planned on dressing him in a tan color suit with the mint suspenders & bow ties for church on Easter Sunday but Jay insisted he wear these pants because, “It’s the only day of the year he can wear these pants to church!”  So white bunny pants it was.  He looked like a cute little bunny, and I can’t get over how cute the bum is on those pants!  I know it’s meant to look like a bunny tail but it just looks like white gas(a.k.a fart) to me.  Haha!  I love it!
