girls’ lace top DIY

December 13, 2010~ DIY DREAM HOUSE

remember this tank top I used to make a J.Crew flower top and a rosette top?

it looks pretty hashed now with no straps and inner lining and the bottom hem.
but I didn’t want the lace along the neckline to go to waste.
so i cut the lace off in the front and back and added it to my daughter’s plain grey shirt.
after:

such a simple way to give a plain shirt a little sparkle!
