DIY: tailor a peplum top & a pencil skirt

September 3, 2012~ DIY DREAM HOUSE

I had a peplum top and a skirt that were a little loose fitting.  A little tailoring makes a big difference and makes it so much more flattering!
Instructions:
After:
Peplum top & shoes: c/o Romwe | Green pencil skirt: Sheinside | Brown satchel: c/o Brahmin
Purple cardigan: Target | Top: Sheinside | Shoes: Zara | Black handbag: c/o Brahmin

Estimated time: 5 mins. each
Budget: none
Skill level: Beginner

I love both outfits so much! you are so great at doing little adjustments and tailoring the outfits exactly right. I'm always inspired to go through my pile of clothes that don't fit correctly and fix them after I read your blog πŸ™‚

Very neat. I am looking forward to doing my own reconstruction on clothing. I am just a beginner – just bought my own sewing machine.

Your clothes & you are very pretty.
