Daddy/daughter trip to Hawaii

August 26, 2013~ TRAVEL

Here are some pictures of Jay and the girls on their 10 day daddy-daughter trip to Hawaii.

brothers
the camp site for the big family reunion
Jay’s dad made an awesome projector for movie nights
Jay found Ana sleeping in her tent.  she was so tired from playing, she put herself down for a nap.  this never happens at home!
Adi got stung by a blue bubble and was saved by auntie Jaymie.
dried pineapples with li hing mui powder.  as soon as Jay got home, we bought a dehydrator and we’ve been making them non-stop in our household.
Adi loved picking the plumerias to make flower leis
they ate Giovanni’s garlic shrimp- my favorite!
face-timed a lot.  Adi is making flower leis with the flowers she picked with grandma and Ana is showing me every single sea shell she picked at the beach, which I was happy to listen to because I was missing them so much, any face-time was a good time.

of course they went to the beach many many times
and when the girls got home, they showed me every single sea shell they found at the beach, one by one. they had given a name for each shell too.  so darling.
They also went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, went fishing, went crab hunting, sea shell hunting, and played choke with their cousins.  They loved it there so much and kept telling Jay how they didn’t want to go back to UT but wanted me to move to Hawaii and it would be perfect.  Now, Jay is more determined to make plans so we can move to Hawaii in the near future!
