Jay’s DIY

November 9, 2012~ SEWING

When Jay did Tough Mudder, he decided to make his own tank to wear to the event.  So he cut up a t-shirt and sewed the sides.  It was his very first time using my sewing machine(if not his first time ever using a sewing machine), and it turned out… well, you decide for yourself.

Jay wants me to tell you that if anyone wants a tutorial on how he made this shirt, just holler & he’ll be more than happy to do one for you.

Oh wow, that's really great! I assume he made those different sized arm holes to figure out what he'd prefer for his next shirt? I see where he was going with that for sure.

I also had a good chuckle from this post. Thanks for sharing! Also props to Jay for trying. I highly doubt my husband would of even made it this far.

Hilarious! Sad thing is my sewing resembles your husband's. Hopefully one day I will get batter though =)

Love it! Please include the tutorial. I have no idea how to achieve the threaded stitch and would love to learn how.
My husband would have given up long before, so I give full marks for effort πŸ™‚
