Yes I’ve been slacking and you know you miss me, but I’ve been so busy with fam, work and renovations, so this will be short and sweet.

These are some of the pictures of our demolition. Jay told me he was gonna put me to work and he surely did! I busted down some walls with a hammer, took bunch of nails out, and knocked down cabinets. It was fun!
See, I have a pooch. Everybody says they can’t tell whatsoever that I’m prego but I can DEFINITELY tell and the evidence is right there! Ha! π
Mikey always tryin’ to look big and tough. π
Poor Mikey…he was so tired he fell asleep on the chair despite the banging and all the intense noise.
The hard working workers.
This video is of us knocking down the island of our kitchen. Bye bye old kitchen, hello to new!

We went to the duck pond last week and walked around the BYU campus for a little bit with Malakai and Amanda. I think she’s the only other person that would get excited to walk around our college campus and reminisce about the good ole’ times besides me. ^ ^ Adalie loved the ducks, we went back twice more just this past week!

The taxi driver asked me as my mom and I sat in the backseat when I was six yrs. old. Most kids would answer, “I want to be a doctor, or a firefighter, or a teacher.” But I simply said, “A mommy.” It made the taxi driver speechless for a while and then he finally said to me,”Oh wow, good for you!” My dream has never changed since then. I had my life planned out when I was a little girl to get married when I was 24 and have all my kids by the time I was 30. Well, it’s been working pretty good so far, I was married at 23 and had Adalie the same year and now I’m expecting a second child again. I calculated and at this rate of having my 1st and 2nd child be only 16 months apart, by the time I barely reach my 30 1/2 birthday, I could be giving birth to my 6th child. But who says we’ll have that many. ^ ^
And this picture is from John and Kate plus 8. Does anybody else watch that show? I love it. When I feel overwhelmed of being a mother and get more overwhelmed thinking about how am I going to handle 2 babies under two such as even going grocery shopping, I watch this show and it always makes me feel better. If she can handle 8 kids, twins and sextuplets, then so can I. And my urge to complain disappears.

We have officially started our BIG renovations yesterday morning. It’s gonna take a lot of sweat, work, and not to mention a lot of bling bling. π They’re removing the popcorn ceiling right now and we’re planning on redoing the whole kitchen, new carpet, new wooden floors, breaking down walls, building a connected bathroom and a walk in closet in the master room upstairs, repainting the whole house and the whole works! We’ve moved into mom’s for the next 2 weeks and Jay’s parents and Mikey will join us so it should be a lot of fun. I’m sooooooo excited for it to be all done! Yay yay!! I’ve been watching HGTV more than ever (ok when I got time which has been only 2 episodes this week) and getting some ideas and I’m stoked. I want our house to look like it had been on the makeover shows on HGTV but we shall see how my design ideas all turn out haha. I wish it would all be done completely with the finished designs in 2 weeks but that’s some wishful thinking. Jay and GP1 should be very busy the next 2 weeks working nonstop and I’m so grateful we got such handymen to help us. We’ll post before and after pictures after it’s all been done so stay tuned!
