OCD?
I know I’m Pretty
Adalie: “Mama, is dada so handsome?”
Me: “Yes, do you think he’s so handsome?”
Adalie: “Yes he is…. Is Ana so cute?”
Me: “yes, do you think Ana’s so cute?”
Adalie: “Yes she is.”
Me: “Do you think Adalie’s pretty?”
Adalie: “Yes, Adalie’s so pretty.”
Me: “Do you think mama’s pretty?”
Adalie: “No mama’s not pretty yet. Adalie’s so pretty.”
I was cooking dinner one night when the kids were being really good and really quiet. They were very good all day so I thought, “Man! This is just my lucky day! They’re such angels today.” But then when I went to go check on them, this is what I saw.
delirious
On Mother’s day I was woken up by my 2 yr. old saying, “Mommy, happy mother’s day! I have a good present for you!” She was so excited to give me her present and I was excited when I opened it and it was a tripod. I remember saying out loud I wanted a tripod when I was more talking to myself a few months ago but he remembered and got it for me. Don’t you love it when your bf/husbands do that? Men are listening to their woman after all! ;D He had breakfast of scrambled eggs, portuguese sausage and rice waiting for me downstairs and a sweet card made by my two sweet girls. Then we went to church, I took a nap and me and my girlfriends had a photoshoot, taken by Jay. I also got to order some cute stuff from Korea which my mom will bring in June! I’m so excited! I’m of course talking about seeing my mom, not my cute stuff, what were YOU thinking? shesh. ^^ I’m coming down with something and I haven’t been feeling well. I took a Tylenol PM not long ago and it’s kicking in right now and I’m delirious so I better stop writing before I make a fool of myself and you guys all think I’m a schizo weirdo. And that is why I’m behind my blogging. The end. Good night.
TGIF
I’m excited for the weekend. My friend who just had her second baby is here with her whole family staying at our house for the weekend. And my other friend who has an adorable 3 yr. old son is visiting UT from Korea. So I’ve been getting a lot of “mommy chatting” with them and it’s been a blast. There’s something refreshing about having mommy friends whom you grew up with and know very well. I think it’s because you can swap and share stories about all the immature/silly/boy drama/funny stories of your childhood/college years. And talk about how when we were little we would wonder whom we were gonna marry/how many kids/future and how we’re living that future now and now we’re basically old ladies with kids and how time flies. 🙂 And I’m throwing a baby shower for a dear friend. And I’ve been getting so intimidated by all the things I see online about other people’s baby shower themes/food/decorations and how they go ALL OUT and mine’s going to be more simple…
