Hee Haw Farms

We went to the Hee Haw Farms in Pleasant Grove.  The last picture is of our girls riding down the slide together over and over x 50.  No joke.  When we got home, they were starving so I hurriedly made dinner for the second time that night(mapo tofu, yum!) and as soon as they ate and bathed, they were out.  Man, we need to get one of these in our backyard!

Our girls being part Chinese, we thought we’d embrace the culture and dress up in our heritage this year, which includes Achilles too!
I used this pattern, except I didn’t print it, I just roughly traced the pattern with a marker while looking at it on my phone.  And turns out… I did it wrong.  There’s a front and back separate patterns but on the phone it only showed the back pattern.  So I used two of the back patterns only, oops!  But it works, and I can’t wait to take him to his first trick or treat!

Jay got home today from 4 days of work training in Boston, which means the past 4 days have been pure girl’s days and nights just the three of us.  So while he was in classes all day long and at night going to the Sixers @ Celtics game & eating oysters, us girls were partying it hard Utah-style.

 We watched movies every night and ate a ton of ice-cream(sorry Jay, all your birthday ice-cream cake is gone…), and had crazy dance parties while rocking out to the care bear song.  That song is wild, I tell ya.  We had a lot of fun, and I sure missed Jay’s help at times and was reminded over and over again how impatient I can be at times.  But having little girlfriends to hang out with 24/7 is pretty awesome.  
We’re very happy that daddy is home now.  It didn’t feel completely like home without him.

My hamburger is better than yours

I don’t know if you’ve ever been fortunate enough to try Burgers Supreme, the best hamburger joint ever.  We go there at least once a month, and every time we go there, Jay orders their pastrami burger while I order their western bacon cheeseburger.  Mine has huge onion rings, BBQ sauce & thick, juicy strips of bacon in it.  I mean, do we even need to compare?  But every time we go there and order our burgers, we debate over which burger is better.  I told you we are deep talkers over here!  
So I wanted to ask you, have you tried their pastrami & western bacon?  Which one do you think is better?
