Welcome to another episode of Refashion Revision where I take outdated clothes and turn it into new.
This may be my shortest refashion DIY I will ever do, I turned this women’s blouse to a girls dress in less than 2 mins.! This blouse was a $1 find from a thrift store and I instantly knew it could turn into a dress for my daughter in a matter of minutes! I love finding super fast and easy DIY’s to do.
So should I play the music in the background the whole duration of the video, or just during the intro and the closing? I’d love your input, thank you!
Here is my cute niece modeling the before and my daughter modeling the after.
BEFORE
AFTER
For this project you’ll need :
- Women’s blouse
- Scissors
- Thread/needle
Project cost: $1
Estimated time: 2 mins.
Skill level: very beginner
I don’t think I could pull off the dramatic ruffles on the shoulders as cute as her, so I am glad I made it into a dress for my daughter. What do you think?

Hi Sarah, your channel is one of the ones that inspired me to pick up a sewing machine and try my hand this year! would you consider making a video or post just about what you consider essential accessories for a beginner? they all seem so obvious, but I’m not sure where to start and/or how to choose which one :p seam rippers, pins, markers, scissors… specific types of rulers or tape measures?
