When Jay did Tough Mudder, he decided to make his own tank to wear to the event. So he cut up a t-shirt and sewed the sides. It was his very first time using my sewing machine(if not his first time ever using a sewing machine), and it turned out… well, you decide for yourself.
Jay wants me to tell you that if anyone wants a tutorial on how he made this shirt, just holler & he’ll be more than happy to do one for you.
Sam Adams says
Oh wow, that's really great! I assume he made those different sized arm holes to figure out what he'd prefer for his next shirt? I see where he was going with that for sure.
Smile says
Well, at least the shirt was in tact for the event. π

Hi Sarah! Love your blog! And i died laughing at this post. Seriously…tears in my eyes and everything! And overall, good job Jay. Hey, if it stayed together and didn't fall apart on you, that's all that matters!

I also had a good chuckle from this post. Thanks for sharing! Also props to Jay for trying. I highly doubt my husband would of even made it this far.

Hilarious! Sad thing is my sewing resembles your husband's. Hopefully one day I will get batter though =)

Love it! Please include the tutorial. I have no idea how to achieve the threaded stitch and would love to learn how.
My husband would have given up long before, so I give full marks for effort π
