yogurtland-oh how i love thee

June 17, 2011~ Etc.

(this post was written several days ago but i’m posting it now.)

*fyi: i took a nightime tylenol a little bit ago so if i’m beginning to sound doozy, it’s not me, it’s you.  haha jk, i mean it’s the med.  or maybe it’s working already thus my lousy jokes? hmm…

today was a rough day.  ana suddenly woke up around midnight and was wide awake until 4 a.m. which doesn’t help with my strep.  i don’t know what’s worse, for me to be sick or for the kids to be sick.  of course i would take their sickness to me if i could anyday but if they’re sick, they have someone that takes care of them and nurses them back to health, but when i’m sick, even if it’s a little sickness that would be cured within a day of good rest, it lasts for about 2 weeks since my needs are second and since two toddlers demand so much, i can’t take care of myself.  and plus, i’m a boring mother when i’m sick, we were stuck inside the house all day and watched t.v.  boo.
so i felt bad for the girls and wanted to get some fresh air for me too and do something that would lift all our spirits which = YOGURTLAND.  besides my own home, it is my heaven on earth.  i would put a giant halo on top of it if i could.  sadly, ana didn’t make it with us since she didn’t nap today and was hashed by the time we ate dinner so while jay put her to sleep, adi and i went on a little mommy daughter date.  i love this girl so much.

and we finished the date with playing catch with a ball.  and i should mention my day was
happily complete when i put adi to sleep and turned the t.v on and realized i had the bachelorette tivo’ed.

and this video is of adi singing loudly inside yogurtland.
have i mentioned she’s been into singing very loudly lately in public?
like when we’re grocery shopping and she’s sitting in the cart, she’ll sing loud
and gesture dramatically with her arms reached out to the air.
and whoa, the med. is working.  i better go before i start talking jibberish.
peace out.
*update: i’m all better now.  hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I feel you on the sickness thing. But you failed to mention how husbands are always sicker (no matter what, unless you have a hubby that by some luck is missing this chromosome!) I had my wisdom teeth pulled thinking "Sweet, he can't catch this, he'll have to take care of me for 2 days", then when I got home a natural disaster happened and we had to evacuate our house! (Our house was luckily not affected by the fire). So in my drugged state I had to pack up our valuable and go to my in-laws house across town πŸ™
