What I packed for my hospital bag

July 26, 2013~ Etc.

all ready to go with my belly at exactly 40 weeks today!

These are the items I packed for my hospital bag:

• slippers

• bath robe
• toiletries (shampoo & conditioner, deodorant, make-up, face wash & lotion)
• going home outfit for me and baby
• hand mittens
• camera
• phone + charger
• thin swaddle/baby blanket
• a book
• a few pads
• nursing bra
• pillow

That’s it!  I will be delivering at the same hospital I gave birth to my other two kids, and one thing I love about that hospital is that they have a snack room.  The patient and the caretaker can go get snacks anytime and it’s filled with yogurt, fruit, granola bars, juice, oreos(they better still have oreos!), pudding, etc.  Isn’t that so great?  It kinda is one of the reasons why I chose that hospital…. eh hem.

ooooh, good luck! Love the bag 🙂

Am glad you packed nice and simple. I've been reading that you should pack some relaxation music and scented candles etc. Pfft! A waste of space I think!

I love how simple your bag is 🙂 totally tell you are a 3rd time mommy! With my first I packed nothing, because he was so early, it was a towel between my legs and our camera around my neck! Kory came home later and got the rest of the stuff. After that I decided I would pack only a bare minimum with Dani but would at 30 weeks, instead of waiting….Good luck i keep waiting for an announcement!
