We went over to our friend’s house for some B.B.Q and fireworks, since they live at the most perfect spot to watch the fireworks. It was Achille’s first time watching the fireworks and at first he was so scared, that poor boy! As soon as it started, he nudged his head in between Jay and me and was shaking pretty hard. But after about 5 minutes of getting cuddles, rubs and kisses from all of us, he loosened up and actually enjoyed watching it.
As for me, earlier in the day right before Jay was coming home from work, I tried to clean up the house and fold the laundry, but the girls kept interrupting to ask me to do stuff for them, which made me very annoyed & irritated! And I got a little scared of myself since that’s what mothers are suppose to do, to do stuff for them 24/7! Then I thought, duh, it’s because I’ve been running so low on gas that I just need to stop and take a break before I just lose it and become a witch with just one letter off. So I lied down on the bed and lost care of all my to-do’s of picking up their toys, folding and putting away laundry, making dinner, putting the dishes away, tidying up the whole house, and vacuuming, but instead texted a few of my friends to see if they wanted to go out. My friend and I set up a time to meet an hour later and you know what? I instantly felt better and rejuvenated, knowing I was going to get some me-time in a little bit. So I happily did most of my chores within that hour(except vacuuming and making dinner) and 6 hours later(dinner+chatting nonstop), here I am back home. And I feel great! It’s good to be away from my kids once in awhile so I can miss them and want nothing but to go cuddle them and kiss them. I’m back to myself again, hallelujah, praise the Lord!

I'm glad you are feeling better Sarah!
Have you thought of maybe getting the girls to do some chores? There are some super cute 'chore' boards on pinterst that you could make up and the girls could help you with, like their toys, maybe vacuum, stack dishes/ put away cutlery.
Maybe if they pitched in some more it wouldn't be so stressful for you? I'm not sure what the girls do right now but I hate seeing you so stressed!
I could definitely have them help me more! I have them put their toys away and their milk cups back in the fridge, but that's about it haha. But today, Adi offered to help me put the clothes away and she did it so willingly, it was nice. Thanks for the reminder!
