Swagger wagon

April 23, 2013~ Etc.

We got a minivan. Yes, we got a minivan.  I was always one of those people that said I would never drive a minivan, never ever.  Two weeks before we bought the minivan, we initially went car shopping for a new SUV.  Then Jay suggested we check out the minivan too and I thought, why not?  We are never getting one, but I can at least go take a look.  Well, little did I know it was going to steal my heart with it’s roomy, luxurious, 8 seat, etc.  interior!  Interior is far more important than the exterior so I said screw my pride and trying to look cool, we are getting a minivan!
It took me about a week to completely fall in love with it since my whole life I said never ever and it was only two weeks prior that I said well, maybe… and then a week later we were minivan owners. Now you ask? I got no shame, I’m one proud mama sporting a minivan full of babies!
Jay is proud to ride the minivan too!
If you are one of those people that say you would never drive a minivan, have three kids and go take a look inside the minivan.  It’ll do the same to you as it has done to me.
Anyone else proud minivan owners like us? πŸ˜‰

we just got one too, Sarah. It stung a little, but I admit, I'm loving it. The kids fall asleep in it 5 minutes flat!

We only have 2 kids (for right now…) and I am dying for the space a minivan provides! We are a road tripping family so I can see a minivan in our future even if my husband detests them! Toyotas are awesome!

We have a small SUV stuffed with 3 kids. I never in my life thought I'd want a mini van but after countless rides with them endlessly picking on each other, I'd take one in a heartbeat. Just to save my sanity. My husband on the other hand, won't hear of it. Oh well. Maybe someone will visit me in the looney bin every once in a while.

I LOVE vans! I am 5'11' and my husband is 6'5'. We were just waiting to have kids so that we could justify making the purchase. Now that we have one we are definitely looking. They are so spacious and great for tall people and children! Such a silly stigma, vans are where it's at!

We went shopping for an SUV when I was pregnant with my second child and ended up buying a swagger wagon too. They are quite awesome. Anyone with more than one kid would love it. πŸ™‚

We always said we would NEVER EVER EVER own one, like ever, and then when we had our 3rd kid, convenience finally won me over and changed my mind. It was hard for me too in the beginning because of my pride, but now I'm so fine with it. Just because I drive one now doesn't mean I'll drive one forever, and man, it makes life SO much easier!! I'm so thankful for it. We live in Oregon where it rains a lot and when I realized that I could push a button to open the doors and then stand IN our van and buckle kids and not be out in the rain I was sold. Plus, the kids have so much space that they can't even touch each other. πŸ˜‰

We're currently in the market for a minivan and my husband is more excited about it than I am. He's done a lot of research about it and knows exactly what he wants. We actually only have one kid, but all of the space that a minivan provides is proving to be irresistible!

Yes, even with 2 kids if you go on road trips a lot(which is so great I think!), minivans will be so nice! You must convert your husband and join the club! πŸ˜‰

Welcome to the minivan family! The reasons I love my minivan are the doors slide back, and out of the way. Especially in the garage when I'm unloading groceries! And it's just the right height for getting in and out of. You don't have to climb up to get in. But most of all, it's great for traveling! Our boys always had lots of room, and man! Can you get a lot of stuff in it! I can even fold the seats down and haul stuff! Love my minivan!

These posts are SO funny. I too said I'd NEVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER, EVER drive one, but now I'm eating those words BIG TIME! lol =) I'm a single Mom, with one kid but I drive 6 kids to school in carpool and this Swagger Wagon has been a GOD SEND! =) My son also plays club sports so it's roomy enough to hold all his equipment and baseball team on game day. It's large enough to hold our 100 pound furry friend and it's soooo smooth, so roomy and sooo comfy. To tell you the truth, when my 14 year old grows up and leaves for college, I think this minivan will still be a KEEPER. lol =) I am truly LOVING EVERYTHING about it…especially the sliding doors when I'm loading and unloading groceries. Thank you TOYOTA for making such an awesome ride for us COOL MOMS! Ha!
