SUNDAY MISSION STORY

January 17, 2016~ SUNDAY MISSION STORY

Pictures of me at the Mission Training Center.

#sundaymissionstory I’ve decided to share my mission stories here on my blog also instead of just on my Instagram, so I can keep track of it better!

My companion and I were tracting one night and we were very cold, I was very hungry and I had to pee real bad! But we were in a residential area, our apartment wasn’t near and we wanted to get 20 hrs. of tracting hours completed which is our weekly mission goal as a whole mission. I contemplated what to do then decided to pray. “Heavenly Father, the next house we knock on, could you let them invite us in, feed us and let me use the restroom please?” We were knocking on doors of a random street we picked on our map.

We knocked on the door and a man answered the door. “Oh, hi sisters! It’s cold outside, would you like to come in?” We of course happily stepped inside the house. “We just started eating, come eat with us!” It turned out to be a family who used to go to our church a long time ago, so they instantly knew who we were. We were able to warm up, I got to use the bathroom, we were fed a delicious hot meal, and we shared a message about Jesus Christ. When we left the house, I prayed to God thanking him for being so sweet and always taking care of us.
