It’s getting really hot in Utah which means it’s time for Achille’s hair to start shedding. He only sheds twice a year during the transition from Spring to Summer and then from Fall to Winter, but when he sheds, it’s intense! Jay had brushed him earlier this day and still, look at all that hair!
so gross. but it’s a lot less maintenance than raising a child, that’s for sure!
I have an Akita…I know what you go through but he is probably twice Achillie's size! He's about 115 lbs! If Achillies's is anything like Koda's…it's super soft. I've heard there's a lady local in my area who will make yarn from more than just sheeps wool, but dog or horse hair. I always thought it would be neat to do that, as Koda is an all white Akita.
The first thought that popped into my head when I saw all that hair was that someone should make yarn out of it!
