Adalie has been in the nursey ever since she was 15 months old and she’s always the only girl and is outnumbered by boys about 5:1. Not to mention the boys are all 3 years old and she is only 1 1/2 yrs. old. But she can definitely hold her own according to the nursery teachers. We were teaching Primary but when we had Ariana we found it too hard to teach while tending to two kids(Adalie refused to go to the Nursery most of the time) so we asked to get released and a week later, BAM we get called to be the Nursery teachers. Aren’t nursery teachers usually young couples with NO kids? 😀 Anywho but we like it since Adalie loves that we’re there with her and also because Jay and I don’t have to seperate to go to Relief Society/Elder’s Quorum.
Last week Adalie even made 3 boys cry. Yep boy 1 because she was playing with a toy and the boy 1 came and tried to take it away from her so she bit his arm and made him cry. Boy 2 was playing behind a kitchen set playing peek-a-boo with Jay, and Adalie wanted in on the action so she pushed all the boys aside and bit the back of boy 2 who was right in the middle. Boy 3 because he was playing with a toy and Adalie wanted it so she bit him. He started crying and tried to bite her back but one of the dads who came to watch saw boy 3 about to bite Adalie so he scolded him and made him cry even more. The dad did not see that Adalie bit him in the first place. Poor boy. Haha. I mean it’s not funny… Eh hem.
I just hope this is just a “biting” phase she’s going through and she’ll grow out of it quickly.
ha ha hah ha, how funny! She already has those boys in the palms of her hands (or should I say, her mouth) 🙂 Good girl. ha ha. She'll grow out of it soon enough (as long as you and jay don't high-five her) he he.
