I got to handpick these pair of shoes that Zappos sent me, they have been one of my top favorite stores to shop at the past few years so I am so excited to be working with them!
Yesterday I felt like a zombie all day, barely on survival mode. I was getting 4-5 hours of sleep the past couple of days and you know how it takes a day or two for it to finally hit you? Yeah, it hit me yesterday. And since life always has perfect timing, I had to drive to Salt Lake City two separate times yesterday too! The first was to meet up with a friend to do a photoshoot swap and go get some home decor for my sewing room(I got the cutest white dress form, I am so excited to show it to you!) , then the second time was to go to an event for my girls where they taught computer programming and coding, they got to build their own robots and program it!

On our way to Salt Lake the second time for the event for my girls, I literally had to pinch my arm and my hand HARD in order for me to make sure I didn’t fall asleep. It didn’t help that both of my girls fell asleep and I had no one to talk to! So I turned on some hip hop music and had a dance party by myself. And it worked, I didn’t fall asleep, we made it back safe and sound! Then when we got home, Jay and I put the kids to bed and then I plopped on my son’s bed and fell asleep at 10 pm.
But before I fell asleep and after we kissed our daughters good night and it was just me and my son in the kitchen, he asked,
“Are you Sarah?”
So I said, “Yes, I’m Sarah.”
And he smiled at me and said in the sweetest, most sincere voice, “You’re the best Sarah ever.”
Which melted my heart into many pieces and I realized no matter how tired and exhausted I am, those words makes it all worth it and it keeps me going everyday.
And while running around everywhere and being exhausted, it sure helps to be wearing really comfortable shoes! I am all about comfort and comfort triumphs over looks for me, but these Born colorblock sandals have got it all, the looks and the comfort! I compare a lot when shopping online and look for promotion codes so I can get the cheapest price possible and Zappos doesn’t offer promotion codes because they guarantee their prices are lower than other stores with their promotion codes combined.
