This little cutie is turning 7 next week! AHHH!!! This is tearing my heart inside. I remember with my first two children, every birthday was bitter sweet but deep inside a part of me couldn’t wait for them to get older and become more self-reliant so I could relax a little but by my third child, I realized I wanted them to rely on me for everything and for time to slow down as much as possible! I would do anything to go back to this stage where my girl had tiny bit of hair and I could barely put it in a ponytail. My sweet little baby.
For our Princess’s birthday, we have lots of fun things planned. First, we plan on going on a girl’s night out just me and the girls to go see Disney On Ice Frozen(*information below). Then she wants a Pan birthday party, so I need to start planning that like today! Then I want to start a family tradition of taking the birthday child out to a fancy dinner with just us parents. Maybe we are going a little overboard because Jay and I will be traveling next month and feel bad, maybe not, I don’t know!
I try so hard to raise my kids so that they’ll grow up with good work ethic, and not entitled and ungrateful, but it is so hard to not spoil them! I don’t think it’s bad to spoil them, just as long as you make them earn and work for privileges and for things they want, and as long as they don’t grow up bratty. There is a huge difference between a spoiled brat and a spoiled child, don’t you agree? 😉
But I cannot stop looking at these cute pictures of my little girl, isn’t she the cutest? Ahhh, I love her!
