My favorite food in the WORLD~

June 2, 2010~ Etc.

is CORN. I love corn on the cob. I used to eat 4-6 a day growing up and I loved it so much my dad always told me to marry a corn farmer. But instead, I married a man who can buy me as many corn as I please.

So yesterday when we went to our friends Q/Kyo/Ethan and Rachel/Pora/Bora’s house(sorry inside joke), I was THRILLED when she told me how to cook corn the most easiest way!

1. Peel corn and rinse with water. Place the corn on top of wax paper.

2. Roll the corn.

3. Place it in the microwave and cook for 3 mins. And viola! You got a perfectly cooked, moist corn!

I bought 12 corns 4 hrs. ago and I already ate one and I’m eating my 2nd one as I type right now. You know what they say about corn right? That it doesn’t digest but goes in your mouth and comes straight out of…… you get the jist. hahaha. But I don’t care!

Another great way to cook corn in the microwave is to leave it in the husk when cooking it. Its so juicy. Aaahh corn 🙂

Jodz: THANK YOU so much for the tip! I just cooked it with the husk on and it turned out delicious! I guess that's even easier than the wax paper!

My mom wraps corn in plastic so she can store em in the fridge easily and just pop it in the microwave whenever she feels like it. Wrapping it in a damp paper towel also helps with the moisture retention too.
