My amazing and sweet sister-in-law made me a feast for lunch! All of my favorite Korean fast foods! Thank you Sora unni, I love you so much!
My parents hardly ever spoiled me with material things and I had to earn everything I wanted. $20 gift was it for Christmas and birthdays all growing up. So the fact that my parents chipped in a big chunk along with my two brothers to get me a Bosch(with 6 + accessories and a slicer/shredder), something I’ve been wanting for awhile but couldn’t get myself to buy, and my sister buying me a rice cooker(you know, because I am Asian so it’s perfectly fitting), left me so grateful and speechless! Thank you, thank you!
We had my family over for dinner and Jay made us steamed crabs with clarified butter(you just boil unsalted butter and take out the foam, then boil it again to take out the foam. It is so good!), salmon, shrimp skewers, grilled mushrooms, and caesar salad. The food was so delicious, we all ate a ton but my mom beat all of us, she ate so many crabs, I was so impressed!
Then to make the party more fun, my brother and I got in a fight where tears were shed(only by me) and arguments ensued in front of everyone in the middle of dinner. We made up 5 minutes later. Oh, families. Aren’t they the best? 😉
It was my birthday and I could cry if I want to, cry if I want to… SO I DID! Haha
And I feel the need to clarify with utmost importance that I did NOT
