Jay and I got the kids ready for bed and I brushed the girls’ teeth and after reading books and praying together, I gave the girls kisses and hugs and went out of their room to get Aiden ready for bed. A few minutes later as I was making Aiden formula, Ana runs out of her room and says, “Mommy? Can I get one more kiss? Because daddy just gave me a kiss and wiped your kiss away.” She then held my cheeks with both of her hands and gave me three long kisses to make sure my kiss stayed on good before walking back to her bedroom happy and content.
Moments like this. It’s perfection.
