I will miss…

July 29, 2009~ Etc.

I’ve been slacking big time on blogging as of late. The reasons are: I have less time now that I have 2 kids. I feel like no one reads our blog anymore=less motivation to update. And ever since I got internet on my phone and can check my email, facebook and the news, I hardly get on the internet now.

ANYWAY… We just had a 4 month check-up for Ariana. She is over 90% in height, her head size is like 40% and weight is 80%. I think…I’ll need to get the exact percentage, I’m just darn too lazy to go downstairs and get the papers right now.
She has been able to roll over for the past month or so and she is so strong, healthy and beautiful. Adalie didn’t roll over until she was over 7 months and it’s crazy how fast Ariana is hitting her milestones. Ariana being the 2nd child and knowing from raising Adalie how fast babies grow up and how short it lasts, I definitely cherish every moment, every day with Ariana. I will miss Ariana…
-trying to suck everything that touches her lips. Even when I try to kiss her on her lips and she tries to french kiss me.
-not being mobile. She is just a big fat blob who squirms and kicks- in one place. I will miss kissing her, smelling her, touching her and squeezing her as long as I want and her just sitting there having to take it because she has no other option! Come to mama!
-Smiling so big when she sees me coming to pick her up from the ground or the car seat.
-her soft spot. When I see the top of her head moving and breathing, I realize how delicate, brand new, little, and fragile she really is.
-her falling asleep in my arms or on my chest or shoulder. She looks like an angel when she sleeps. Actually she looks like an angel 24/7.
Kids really do grow up too fast. I wish I could video tape or take pictures of every single second of every single day of Adalie and Ariana.

This is so sweet. I swear I was thinking the exact same things just today. Especially about her hitting milestones so much quicker and how I can love on her and she can't get away. 🙂 You are such a good mom.

Sarah, I read your blog! I always enjoy your commentary. I can tell you give 110% to your family. Great inspiration for us all. Of course, your daughters are just the epitomy of cuteness. Having two kids is yet another challenge, but from what I can tell, you can handle it, and I know your kids are so lucky to have both you and Jay. Lily had a 10% head for awhile…but she caught up I think…Thanks again for the updates!
