I got pulled over by a cop

March 13, 2015~ Etc.

I got this swimsuit for only $18(including tax!) and was so excited about it.  After the purchase, it was time to go pick up my daughter and as soon as I stepped out, I ran into a dear friend.  So wanting to see her a little more and chat with her, I went back inside the swimsuit store and got to spend a little more time with her.

By now, it was still enough time to be at the school on time but a block before I got to her school, there was a huge semi-truck turning into the road and the construction worker stopped all the cars with a stop sign for a solid 3 mins.  So now I was running late and I turned into the school and as I was turning into the parking lot, I hear that ugly, loud siren and sure enough see a police car behind me.

So I got pulled over by a cop right in front of my daughter’s teachers & helpers, her classmates and other kids.  Talk about embarrassing!  But good thing my car was facing the opposite side, because I started crying as I was talking to the police and couldn’t stop crying.  So the point of the story is, this swimsuit went from the cheapest suit I own to the most expensive suit I now own.

P.S. I am giving away a $50 giftcard to Kneader’s on my Instagram, come enter!

Haha! I love this story! Fantastic suit, by the way. Also, if it makes you feel ANY better, when I was 14 and learning to drive with my permit, somebody called the cops on me and said I was drunk driving. Whoops.

Crappy. Was it twice as much $$ being in a school zone? At least the suit started out cheap as opposed to expensive from the get go?

I am going to call them soon and find out. I know it's more than the normal zone so I'm screwed either way! and yes you are right, way to looking at it in a positive way! 😉
