hand-me downs

April 3, 2012~ Etc.

since ana is the younger sister and only a year younger than adi, she hardly gets new clothes and she mainly wears hand-me downs, like these shoes.  i mean, if there was a huge age gap between them, i think i would buy her more clothes but it’s not like kids’ fashion changes in a year, you know?  but i make sure to buy her some new clothes once in awhile and when i do, she absolutely loves it and wants to wear it every single day for a few weeks, like this dress.

my sweet ana.  i love you.

p.s. speaking about kids’ fashion, thanks to this lovely blog i found out about target’s harajuku line by gwen stefani, and i love it!  i will have to visit target very soon. πŸ™‚

That is a dress worth wearing! It's sometimes nice to use hand me downs, like being able to re-see your favorite clothes again. I have a girl and boy so the clothes sharing is very minimal πŸ™ but we love going to baseball stadiums around the country and it's fun to see little O in some of the jerseys we bought for his big sister πŸ™‚ (never pink of course!)

I've followed your blog for a while now, and wanted to tell you how much I love your previous post. How awesome to be able to coordinate with a photographer. The images are lovely! I'm a freelance clothing designer who strongly stands on a platform of modesty, so I've really enjoyed your modestify posts. Your family is beautiful and I love the sweetness of your blog. Keep it coming! =)
