going through the car wash.

January 12, 2012~ Etc.

we went through the car wash for the first time with our girls and well,
can you tell from these pictures how much they loved it?
they’ve been asking everyday since if we can go to the car wash again,
and this is how the conversation usually goes.
adi: mom, can we please go to the car wash again today?
me: no honey, the car’s not dirty yet.  you only go when the car’s dirty.
adi: (pointing to a tiny water spot on her side window) look mom, see?  it’s dirty!
we need to go to the car wash again so it can be clean!

That's funny! We went through the car wash over the weekend and had the total opposite reaction. My poor boys were SCREAMING to get out. I felt so bad!

That's awesome! I remember loving car washes as a kid {ok, maybe I still do}. There's something about them that's so fun! :p

My boys LOVE the car wash too! Wish it was more affordable to go once a week!

Trish, that's hilarious! Maybe their second time around won't be as traumatizing. 🙂

And yes I still love car washs too! Thanks for your comments!

My boys were the same the first time, even using the mud on the tires to persuade us for another round. I don't remember being excited the first time my father drove us in one, but seeing the water without getting wet does feel cool!
