DESTRUCTION- dun dun dun

October 5, 2008~ Etc.

These are some of the pictures of our demolition. Jay told me he was gonna put me to work and he surely did! I busted down some walls with a hammer, took bunch of nails out, and knocked down cabinets. It was fun!

See, I have a pooch. Everybody says they can’t tell whatsoever that I’m prego but I can DEFINITELY tell and the evidence is right there! Ha! πŸ˜›

Mikey always tryin’ to look big and tough. πŸ˜€
Poor Mikey…he was so tired he fell asleep on the chair despite the banging and all the intense noise.
The hard working workers.

This video is of us knocking down the island of our kitchen. Bye bye old kitchen, hello to new!

Hey choi, I am not trying to sound all bossy, but it would probably be wise to wear a mask when you are in your house working on it. The dust particles and who knows what else is in your walls that get into the air when you do demolition, especially in older houses can be harmful for your baby, and Adi, even if you are just helping out a little, you probably should wear a well ventilated mask. Because you never know what toxins where originally used in building your house, like asbestos, and lead. Even some insulation can cause cancer if you inhale it.

Sorry I really wouldn’t have said anything but I speak from experience, even when you are being ultra careful, dust still gets everywhere, it is just a part of remodeling.

u don’t sound bossy at all, just informing us out of love πŸ˜‰ yeah we had professionals get rid of all the asbestos and they tarped the whole house in two layers and made sure it was all gone. i hope that was good enough. thanks
