While I was nursing

While I was nursing, my daughter told me she was going to pamper me and it’ll be “belaxing”.  So she filled up warm water in her “cake builder sandcastle toy” and told me to dip my feet in the water.  She also got me two little bowls of warm water so that I could dip my hands in them too.  I sure am spoiled.  And I wouldn’t want to be pampered any other way.
Oh, and was this in the morning right when I woke up you ask?  No, it was in the mid-afternoon.  I’d hate to tell you this was just once in a blue moon when I am still in my pajamas, but it happens quiet a lot around here.

Mindy Gledhill

Ever since Mindy Gledhill contacted me two years ago to revamp her dress for her music video Winter Moon and I heard her songs for the first time, I’ve been a big fan of her ever since.  She recently released her album Pocketful of Poetry, so my girlfriends and I attended her album release concert!
I just love her and her new songs.  Back when she posted on her blog how she met me and she couldn’t not look at me in the least creepy way possible, I left a comment on her blog post saying, “I’m so in love with you and your music and I mean that in the most creepy way possible.”  😀

Who needs a recipe anyway?

When I picked up my daughter from school, she told me she had rice krispies at school and she wanted more.  I told her we can go home and make some together as her after school snack and she said, “Theirs was yummier than yours, mommy.” So I said I don’t have their recipe but I will try to make it really yummy.  Then she said, “Oh, I know! Just smell my breath and you will know how to make it!  I just ate it so it still smells just like it, so that’s your recipe!”

We then picked up my other daughter from school and when she was in the car I told her how we were going to make rice krispies when we got home because her sister had some that was really yummy and she wanted me to make it just like the one she had at school.  She asked, “Do you have the recipe, mommy?”  And my other daughter replied back to her promptly, “She’s just going to smell my breath.”
I used her recipe and made the rice krispies and she said it tasted just like it.

A book

My little girl’s been into writing her own books lately which is a white printing paper folded in half with a book cover drawn by her.  She made this book and it’s titled, “Mommy’s BBBBIG Butt”.  She knows just how to flatter a woman, that one.
