I’m in LOVE♥

August 14, 2009~ Etc.

Have you ever tried Red Mango? Well, Red Mango originated from Korea and if you haven’t had it in Korea(so is Pinkberry), then you’re sure missing out. It is SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!!

Ginny and Colby had us over for some true Red Mango shaved ice and oh my. Let’s just say I could eat it every single day.

It is super easy to make and super delicious. Just shave some ice and put it on the bottom, put various chopped fruit, sweetened red bean(in a can, they sell it at Asian markets), put frozen yogurt in the middle and drizzle with some sweetened condensed milk and wala! There you have it. Try it and you will not be dissapointed. My mouth is salivating right now…mmmm.

Can you tell them apart?

August 2, 2009~ Etc.

Can you tell which are pictures of Adalie or Ariana?

The first three pictures are Ariana and the last three are of Adalie. Man, grow some hair already, they were/are both bald! Thanks to Jay who was called “The little buddah” for being bald until he was two.

I will miss…

July 29, 2009~ Etc.

I’ve been slacking big time on blogging as of late. The reasons are: I have less time now that I have 2 kids. I feel like no one reads our blog anymore=less motivation to update. And ever since I got internet on my phone and can check my email, facebook and the news, I hardly get on the internet now.

ANYWAY… We just had a 4 month check-up for Ariana. She is over 90% in height, her head size is like 40% and weight is 80%. I think…I’ll need to get the exact percentage, I’m just darn too lazy to go downstairs and get the papers right now.
She has been able to roll over for the past month or so and she is so strong, healthy and beautiful. Adalie didn’t roll over until she was over 7 months and it’s crazy how fast Ariana is hitting her milestones. Ariana being the 2nd child and knowing from raising Adalie how fast babies grow up and how short it lasts, I definitely cherish every moment, every day with Ariana. I will miss Ariana…
-trying to suck everything that touches her lips. Even when I try to kiss her on her lips and she tries to french kiss me.
-not being mobile. She is just a big fat blob who squirms and kicks- in one place. I will miss kissing her, smelling her, touching her and squeezing her as long as I want and her just sitting there having to take it because she has no other option! Come to mama!
-Smiling so big when she sees me coming to pick her up from the ground or the car seat.
-her soft spot. When I see the top of her head moving and breathing, I realize how delicate, brand new, little, and fragile she really is.
-her falling asleep in my arms or on my chest or shoulder. She looks like an angel when she sleeps. Actually she looks like an angel 24/7.
Kids really do grow up too fast. I wish I could video tape or take pictures of every single second of every single day of Adalie and Ariana.

Scriptures are true

July 16, 2009~ Etc.

While I was reading my scriptures with my babies yesterday I happened to read a chapter that was perfect for me. Don’t you love how the scriptures just speak to you personally? Man, the gospel is so true!

I read in Luke 6:30, 34,35: “Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of them that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest; for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the devil.”

I realized the reason why I feel pooped sometimes is because I’m not perfect. I believe God is constantly serving others without feeling burnt out because he is that perfect! So when I do feel burnt out, I need to remember that the experience is making me only stronger and more Christ-like, thus a step closer to perfection. And that I need to be that much more selfless.

Life really is so beautiful. Isn’t it? 🙂
