June 4, 2010~ Etc.

Yesterday was the first day where I felt like it was finally Summer. You know the feeling of going outside and instantly feeling the heat of the sun? Yep, it’s June, it’s about time! I can’t believe it snowed last week here, UT is bi-polar! Anywho since it’s been nice, we go to the park/playground everyday.

And we went to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving Point again when dad was here and this time Ariana rode the pony as well.

notice the two faint lines on the side of ana’s head? That was Jay shaving two lines saying it was pimp. Uh…no it’s not.

This is Adalie’s smile when I said, “cheeeeese!”

good thing there’s a window between us. Anything squirting out of that end can’t be good.

feeding the billy goats.

so cute!
Ana seemed to enjoy it even though she didn’t say much or make any facial expressions.
MINES
notice Jay tip-toeing to appear taller like his dad. Yeah, I called you out on it! πŸ˜›
THANKS FOR COMING
Please check the bottom of your shoes for souvenirs. πŸ˜‰

HAPPY WEEKEND everyone! I woke up today thinking it was Thursday only to realize in shock that it’s Friday! YAY!!!

Daddy’s little girl

June 4, 2010~ Etc.

As much as I promise myself I will never raise my kids to be spoiled brats, I can totally understand why parents do it. It’s so much fun to buy them presents and see them so excited and happy!

Well, Adalie was happy at first when I gave her the tool set but then she kept crying because the tool belt kept falling down her cute little body. Whenever something little happens like this(dropping their juice cups, I refuse to give them another popsicle, etc.) and my kids bust out crying, my first initial thought is, “Oh, tough life.” But when you think about it, IT IS the WORST thing that’s ever happened to them in their entire life! Then I chuckle and think it’s so stinkin’ cute how simple minded and innocent they are.

But overall Adi loves the tool set because she loves to help daddy whenever he’s fixing/renovating the house. Have I told you they’re exactly the same in so many ways? She loves Gatorade, loves meat, they make stinky farts, and one time I gave her carrot cake and she took one bite and spit it out. And Jay hates carrot cake too! And it wasn’t like he was next to her saying he hated it, he was at work. She is SUCH a daddy’s little girl. And I don’t mind it one bit.

Anniversary Date

June 2, 2010~ Etc.

We had SO much fun on our anniversary date. We went and got sushi and we were grabbing our stomachs and tears were coming out of our eyes because we were laughing so hard. All the other couples kept starring at us because we were literally rolling in our chairs but we didn’t care. I had to keep standing up because my stomach was in so much pain from laughing. We haven’t laughed THAT hard in a long time. Also it was the most exercise my stomach has gotten in a LONG time. That part isn’t very funny.

Then we went to a store to pick up bunch of toys to bribe Adalie for potty training(yep we tried like 5 times I think so far? It’s not working, argh.) and went to Nickel City, an arcade game place that’s our favorite. We won a ton of tickets and we always spend all our tickets on toys for the kids but this time Jay got a chess set for us and some toys for the kids. Jay’s been teaching me how to play and it’s just a matter of time when I’ll beat him in chess.

We didn’t take many pictures because like all guys, Jay doesn’t like taking pictures so I wanted to make him happy, esp. on our anniversary.

Jay’s cute homemade card. He’s actually making fun of my older brother who always makes this sign to his wife discreetly(or so he thinks) and gets so surprised when we tell him we know what he’s saying to her. I think Jay and I must have really high I.Q’s.

My favorite food in the WORLD~

June 2, 2010~ Etc.

is CORN. I love corn on the cob. I used to eat 4-6 a day growing up and I loved it so much my dad always told me to marry a corn farmer. But instead, I married a man who can buy me as many corn as I please.

So yesterday when we went to our friends Q/Kyo/Ethan and Rachel/Pora/Bora’s house(sorry inside joke), I was THRILLED when she told me how to cook corn the most easiest way!

1. Peel corn and rinse with water. Place the corn on top of wax paper.

2. Roll the corn.

3. Place it in the microwave and cook for 3 mins. And viola! You got a perfectly cooked, moist corn!

I bought 12 corns 4 hrs. ago and I already ate one and I’m eating my 2nd one as I type right now. You know what they say about corn right? That it doesn’t digest but goes in your mouth and comes straight out of…… you get the jist. hahaha. But I don’t care!
