Lagoon

September 27, 2012~ Etc.

{pants: h&m | grey sweater: gap | red cardigan: banana republic | sandals: target}
We had another fun year at Lagoon this year thanks to Jay’s annual work party.  The kids were the least bit scared out of the 4 of us on the rides, which is typical.
And one thing that’s making me happy right now are all the t.v shows that are starting!  I’m watching Revenge as I type, which is my favorite.  It draws you very quickly and gets you addicted.  Not to mention the cute outfits worn by the casts!  The other shows I watch are: Modern Family, New Girl, Parenthood, and the two shows I watch with my husband are Hawaii 5-0 & Revolution.  Do you watch any of these shows?  And are there any other good shows I’m missing out on?

3D lovin’.

September 25, 2012~ Etc.

Ana watched a 3-D movie awhile ago for the first time and she loved it(can you tell?).  Shortly after, we were watching a movie together at our house when she said, “Oh, mommy!  One second, I gotta go get something!” and runs her little legs upstairs.  A minute later, I hear her little legs running back down in a pair of her sunglasses.
She was so excited to watch the movie in 3D but upon watching a little bit she said to me, “Mommy, how come things are not popping out?”

We might need to get a 3D t.v.  But upon second thought, never mind, those things make me a little dizzy.

Ana’s half birthday

September 20, 2012~ Etc.

Ana was very happy when I told her we were going to celebrate the day because it was her half birthday.  We went to the dollar store where they picked out a few items(princess crown, princess hair, princess wand, and a singing toothbrush), and then when daddy came home from work, we went and got cupcakes and lit the candles and sang “happy half birthday to you” about a dozen times.  Adi was quiet happy too that day, because she too got presents and cupcakes just for being the half birthday girl’s older sister.  But let’s not forget, she’s an awesome sister at that.

Achilles boy

September 13, 2012~ Etc.

(this is one of my favorite things he does, every time I call his name, he tilts his head to one side and looks at me.)
Do you ever look at older pictures or videos of your children for hours?  I did that not long ago until 4 a.m. one night, and cried through it all.  Oh, why do they have to grow so fast?  And why do I bawl every time they show a kid leave for college on t.v or the movies?  My heart breaks thinking about how my two girls will leave us in 13-14 years.

But just the other day, I was looking at older pictures of our dog Achilles and boy, I thought my kids grow up way too fast, but puppies?  Why do they have to grow even faster?  I found these pictures of him when we had him for less than a month or so, and he was such a little bundle of fur!

Achilles kept chasing Ana which scared her quiet a bit.  It took Ana a little time to adjust to the new puppy, remember the first time she met him?
Still scared.  And a mommy who thought it was funny and took a picture instead of helping her.
Even though I wish he was little all over again, I think he grew up to be such a handsome boy.  I love him so much.

TGIF!

September 7, 2012~ Etc.

The last two pictures are of a very important matter, so I’m going to talk about it.  Yes, I’m doing a  short popsicle/ice-cream review(no, not sponsored;).  At the Tyau’s household, we always have a ton of popsicles and ice-cream.    So that makes us an expert, if you will.  Starting clock-wise:
-Air-Heads popsicles: Jay and I think it’s kind of gross, but the girls love it.  I give it a 3.5/10.
-Cadbury ice-cream bars: they are delicious.  I give it a 8.5/10
-Magnum ice-cream bars: they’re suppose to be a gourmet, deluxe ice-cream bar, and I tried the double chocolate/caramel bar & the white chocolate bar, and they are both alright.  I never craved more after having one.  Not worth the $2 an ice-cream bar in my opinion.  The Haagen Daz ice-cream bars are better.  I give it a 7/10.
-Jolly Rancher popsicles(also pictured on the right): THE BEST!!!  It has every flavor of jolly ranchers in one popsicle!  Jay used to eat at least 6 every night after the kids were asleep, but he lowered it to 2 after I told him how much we’ve been spending on jolly rancher popsicles the past few months.  I give it a 10/10!
-Sour Patch popsicles: Oh, I just realized I didn’t go clockwise, I guess I got too excited about the jolly rancher popsicles.  They are pretty good.  I wish it was a little more sour, but it’s really sweet.  I give it a 8.7628910327/10.
Have a great weekend!
