BYU vs. UH

October 4, 2012~ Etc.

We went to the BYU vs. UH game with our friends from HI(BYU smoked UH).  Jay is from HI so he put the HI flag up the day before the game day.  And yes, that’s us eating ice-cream on the porch.
while I’m a BYU fan, I wanted to support Jay so I wore green(GO BYU! I mean UH!)
{top: gap | green pants: romwe(c/o) | necklace: h&m| shoes: target($9!) | bag: nordstrom}
And Jay’s friend sent him a clip of the game and we were on t.v!  Ana was putting “pretend make-up” on my eyes during this clip.
The day of the game day, I went to go check the mail and witnessed the HI flag crumpled on the ground about 10 ft. away from where it used to hang. Jay says it just flew away by the wind, but I don’t think so!  He wasn’t there to witness all the evidence I collected at the crime scene like a hair sample, finger prints, foot prints, and a blood sample. Oh, and a urinary sample too.

Sunday bike ride

October 2, 2012~ Etc.

On Sunday the girls and I took an afternoon nap.  When we woke up, we found Jay busy cooking in the kitchen.  He said to us, “Let’s go on a bike ride and have a picnic at a park!”  I couldn’t have thought of a better idea, so we loaded everything and off we went!
{black cardigan: target | leopard leggings & belt: romwe(c/o) | flats: ?(really old)
The cutest picnic food I’ve ever eaten.
It was the perfect way to end a Sunday.

Pick-up lines

October 1, 2012~ Etc.

I was bombarded with all these FB messages on my wall not long ago.

Jay says the directors from Twilight called him to ask his permission to use all his pick-up lines but he declined and told them no, they were only for his wife.
And who knew it could get any more cheesier than Twilight?

Our trip to St. George

October 1, 2012~ Etc.

We took a weekend trip to St. George for a friend’s wedding.  Thanks to the I-pad, we never have to worry about taking road trips with two toddlers.  If that makes us bad parents, then what I meant to say was that they never watch t.v.  Like ever. 😉
As soon as we got to our hotel and settled down, we went to the Poke Bowl.  It was delicious!
We swam.  A lot.
The girls have been asking us to buy them cuddleluppets for awhile, so they were so happy when they spotted the cuddleluppets(a puppet attached to the blanket) at the store.
Our friends got married at the St. George temple.  They were glowing.  I love watching people in love, it makes me so happy!
And then they had their ring ceremony and a reception at a beautiful park.
{peplum dress: dorothy perkins | clutch: h&m | heels: zara| earrings: kohl’s}
notice ana’s little hand resting on the beautiful “princess”s dress.
Congratulations Jesse and Becky!
{stripe dress: Oasap(altered) | necklace: h&m | bag: brahmin | colorblock sandals: Oasap(c/o)}
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Having girls makes me wanna say oh, boy!

September 28, 2012~ Etc.

WARNING: you’re about to witness some crazy mood changes up in here.  Talk to your doctor if you’re pregnant, or have high blood pressure before reading further.

I just wanted a simple picture of the girls in their warmer outfits to say that the weather is getting a lot cooler over here, and I’m loving it.  But I apologize if seeing these pictures alone just made your hormones go wild, or raised your cholesterol, but this is a regular at our household. What caused the initial crying you ask? Ana did not want a hug from her sister. Yeah…..  I can’t blame it all on our two girl though, I’m probably more moody than them two combined.  No wonder why Jay wanted a male dog and named him Achilles, right?
Ana has been going through some major separation anxiety lately and I don’t really know what to do because Adi has never gone through it before.  I already took her out of her dance class because she does not want to leave my side.  But preschool is something she has to go to, yet it breaks my heart when I drop her off and she cries and cries and cries while looking at me with her sad little eyes and reaches out for me while the teacher carries her and takes her away. She cries for about two minutes before she stops crying and she’s totally fine, but still, it makes me sad.  If Jay drops her off at school she goes without any fret, it’s only when I drop her off.  Did any of your kids go through separation anxiety?  I would appreciate any tips you can give me to ease the anxiety, if you have any?
