best.chocolate.ever.

May 3, 2011~ Etc.

when i first tasted cadbury’s chocolate eggs,
i thought i found the best chocolate in the world.
this is even better.
milk chocolate coconut macadamia balls.  it has white chocolate, coconut, & sweet and salty coated macadamias in the middle.  divine.
well, you can only get them in Hawaii and it’s not cheap but jay’s mom sends it to us once in awhile so you can imagine how precious it is to me and jay when we receive it.  we actually go back and forth trying to hide it from each other so we wouldn’t have to share.  we don’t even share it with the kids because hey! to them, chocolate is chocolate, they don’t appreciate the differences of high quality chocolates! so when we got the package and being the selfless, good wifey and a mother that i am, i quickly hid it in the best place i could think of so i could eat it all by myself.
well, jay apparently knew already that mom was sending the package with the chocolates so when he got home and i was off to the grocery store, he tried to find it.  but not for long.  the very first place he looked at, there it was.  the very first place, mind you! argh.
so when i got home, he asked me where it was.  i said i was never going to tell and he kept begging.  so i told him i would give him one, and opened up the secret hiding drawer where the golden chocolates were hidden.  but this is what i found instead. πŸ™
while jay was rolling on the floor laughing.
i guess after almost 4 yrs. of marriage, he knows me a little bit too much.
even to know where i would hide something on his very first try.
i need to find better hiding spots.
and last 2 days to vote for me for top 25 moms with style, and i got pushed back to rank 13! πŸ™ and 13 is an unlucky number in my culture so please help me to get to at least rank 12th.  thank you!

okay, you can't go hiding precious goods in a drawer!

i mean, go for the loose board in the ceiling, the small hole in the wall his huge hand can't fit into, the inside of an old stuffed animal the kids no longer play with, in a empty box for pads/tampons… okay, when i come back, sarah dear, we're going to work on this.
