for jay’s little brother mike’s birthday we took him to texas roadhouse.
we went on a weekday and oh man the line was craaaaazy!
but it was worth it to see mike’s happy face when he got his big steak.
don’t you love it when they make an already fattening food even more fattening?
like these fries drenched in melted smoldering cheddar cheese and crispy smokey
pieces of bacon cooked to perfection and creamy ranch for dipping that pops out the flavor
even more and ties all the ingredients together? can you tell i watch way too much food network?

then the next day we had mike’s friends over for some cake and ice-cream,
homemade apple cobbler and cheesecakes.

then mike took us to legend’s at BYU with his dining plus card for my belated birthday.

and i cannot believe it’s the weekend already!
but i’m not complaining one bit. hope you have a lovely weekend!
