pictures taken by me for ariana’s birthday invitation
last night i cried when i realized it was the last day of ariana being a two year old. that the next day, she’ll no longer be a two year old baby, but a three year old girl! i started sobbing(it wasn’t the first time in the last three days) as i kept hugging and kissing her and my sweet ariana went and got tissue and wiped tears from both of my eyes while my oldest daughter adalie told me, “mommy, don’t be sad! three is not much.” so i told her, “adalie, will you stop growing please? will you stay little forever?” and she said to me, “mommy, i’m going to get bigger and taller and become an adult. but i’ll still live with you and love you forever!”
so it’s a promise written down and officially in contract via the blog, that my girls will live with me forever. even when they get married and have babies and become an old lady. and ya’ll are all my witnesses. 😉
ariana, i love your one dimple on your right cheek, your one double eyelid on your left eye, your skinny self, your giggles, your jokes that you repeat like 20 times in a row and expect me to laugh really loud 20 times, how you twirl around in your princess dress until you get dizzy and fall, how you want to wear your onesie pajamas every day and night, how you sing to the songs you love and being the only one who understands your lyrics, how you share your presents and toys so well with your sister, how you’re the smell detector of the family and know every time mommy or daddy sneak in a chocolate in our mouth and you sniff and ask, “what’s that smell?” and then you demand we give you some chocolate too, how you love to look at electronics and gadgets to see how they work, how you always let sister choose what games or movies to watch on the ipad, how you always want to cuddle, how you randomly run up to me to give me a big hug and say i love you mommy, how you always use the excuse, “but i’m too little, i’m just a little baby.” on everything, but most of all, how you started as such a tiny thing inside of me and you keep getting bigger and stronger, more kind, more intelligent, and more beautiful. i absolutely love everything about you, ariana. and i wouldn’t want you any other way. so happy 3rd birthday, my little ana. be my baby forever.

Haha, yes, it's slowly but surely growing! That's how I bribe her to get her to eat veggies and fruits, I tell her that her hair will get longer. Then she always eats some. 😉
