anniversary date

May 27, 2011~ Etc.

we went on our anniversary date tonight and it was wonderful.
it was actually a family date since my parents are out of town which means no babysitters haha.
top c/o romwe
ate lots of good food
adi drank 3 different kinds of fancy lemonades and was in heaven
tried to take pictures of just jay and i but the kids wouldn’t leave our sight
but we finally got one that we set on timer by distracting the kids, “look at those oranges!”
and finished the date with 3 rounds of merry go rounds for the girls.
and in one of the pictures you’ll see ana looking up while adi is smiling at us.  ever since she was a little baby, she was always interested in what moves things and how things work.  if she finds a missing screw on the door, she looks around the floor for the missing screw and tries to screw it with her little fingers.  when we bought her a dora bike, while adi was busy sitting on the chairs and telling us to hurry up, ana was holding the screw driver and trying to help us assemble it together.  when we went to disney land, on every ride she was more interested in looking at the top or the middle where it held everything together than to look around the scenary.  it fascinates me how while our two girls are raised in the same environment by the same parents, they have such different and unique personality and traits.  like they’re born with those distinctives.  but it makes sense to me since we lived before we came to this earth and have developed those things beforehand.  and i love how alike and different our two girls are.  it makes the house so much more fun.

I adore the fact that you had a family anniversary date especially instead of abandoning the event! What a great memory for all to have!

Anniversary Date

June 2, 2010~ Etc.

We had SO much fun on our anniversary date. We went and got sushi and we were grabbing our stomachs and tears were coming out of our eyes because we were laughing so hard. All the other couples kept starring at us because we were literally rolling in our chairs but we didn’t care. I had to keep standing up because my stomach was in so much pain from laughing. We haven’t laughed THAT hard in a long time. Also it was the most exercise my stomach has gotten in a LONG time. That part isn’t very funny.

Then we went to a store to pick up bunch of toys to bribe Adalie for potty training(yep we tried like 5 times I think so far? It’s not working, argh.) and went to Nickel City, an arcade game place that’s our favorite. We won a ton of tickets and we always spend all our tickets on toys for the kids but this time Jay got a chess set for us and some toys for the kids. Jay’s been teaching me how to play and it’s just a matter of time when I’ll beat him in chess.

We didn’t take many pictures because like all guys, Jay doesn’t like taking pictures so I wanted to make him happy, esp. on our anniversary.

Jay’s cute homemade card. He’s actually making fun of my older brother who always makes this sign to his wife discreetly(or so he thinks) and gets so surprised when we tell him we know what he’s saying to her. I think Jay and I must have really high I.Q’s.

I absolutely love your blog and love to re purpose things as well. I wish you good luck and will be voting for you :> thank you also for making your things modest. It is nice to see some other designers who like to keep things trendy, but modest as well. Thanks!
