Achille’s dog house.

June 7, 2012~ Etc.

Jay built a dog house for Achilles and it’s pretty intense.  You gotta see it for yourself!
in the process of building:
the finished result(without the painting):
the hallway blocks the wind or heat from going into the bedroom.
And this is the note he wrote to his family after he finished building it.  It sums it all up.
4.5 ft. wide by 3 ft. high by 3 ft. deep.  Custom window, door hallway and master suite with a view.  2x4s with 3/4 in ply. Weighing in at 400 lbs with insulated R30 walls and floor.

Cheers,
Jay

And one more thing, the walls of the dog house is more insulated than our own house.  Yeah, of course it is, why wouldn’t it be? πŸ˜‰  But Achilles deserves every bit of it, we adore him so much.

    Wow! If that's a dog house, I can only imagine how wonderful an outdoor children's house he'd build πŸ™‚

    He sure is spoiled. We want to get to painting once we're done renovating our backyard. πŸ™‚ Thanks for your comment!
