My friend from College got married this past weekend! A lot of our friends flew from out of state to attend the wedding so it became a little reunion. It was so great seeing them.
How stunning is her wedding dress? I am in love!
My best friends from College reunited at the wedding. One is going to Guyana as an Obgyn next month, one I haven’t seen in 6 yrs. from Singapore whom just got certified as a yoga instructor from Bali, 3 of them are expecting their 3rd or 4th babies, we all went our separate ways and are now fulfilling our own dreams and goals but one thing that remains the same is how even if we haven’t seen each other in several years, the moment we embrace and reunite, it’s as if we just hung out 2 weeks ago.
I was thinking today why that is with certain people(like good friends or family), and my theory I came up with is that even though time effects our bodies as we age, there is no such thing as time in the spirit sense. Our spirits remain the same age(ever wonder why people say they feel like they’re still in their 20’s or 30’s in their mind but their body says otherwise? My theory(I have lots of life theories) is because there are no child or old spirits in Heaven, we are all young and at the prime age and stay the same age forever. Spirits don’t age. So even though our bodies age, our spirits don’t, which is why we feel our bodies aging but we feel our minds are still young. And even though time, which is a man made concept that doesn’t apply to the eternal laws of Heaven and our spirits, distanced us physically, our spirits were never separated by time, thus we are able to pick up right where we left off.
Did I just make you fall asleep? I’m such a weirdo huh? I think about stuff like this all the time. What do you think of my theory?
And I have a question for you, I’ve been thinking of doing a weekly video about my philosophies of life and happiness. Wow, doesn’t that just sound so exciting? But you know, the random deep thoughts and life theories I throw on here sometimes like my previous post. I have so much to say about life after death, the eternal laws that govern the world, on achieving happiness, etc., it’s absolutely my favorite subject, and I have been getting the inkling to share it with others. So would you watch it? It would be short 5-10 min. videos. Do you prefer YouTube, Periscope or FB live? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
For those of you that asked, my dress is from here.
