Remember when we went to an Easter egg hunt last week hosted by Jay’s work? These are the pictures they posted on their website. Jay’s co-workers have been giving him a hard time ever since.
Yes, we take these easter egg hunts very seriously, people! But we do not grab the eggs for the girls, we’re just next to them to supervise. We went to one last week where there weren’t that many eggs and there was this dad who was grabbing as many eggs as he could for his little boy and got so many in his boy’s basket while all the other kids only got a few. There was even a boy who didn’t get any eggs so he was crying pretty loud and Ana was kind enough to give him 1/2 of her eggs(which was 2, Adi only got 2 eggs). But I couldn’t help but wonder why he would do something like that? People that are not courteous/respectful to others or don’t have common decency get on my nerves. Oh well, I hope the dad doesn’t think it was worth making all the kids sad and making a boy cry! π
Moving on…. I got dressed on saturday to go to the Bijou Market with my friends, feeling like my outfit was pretty cute… until I walked out of my room and Jay says to me, “Oh, I didn’t know you were going proselyting!”(proselyting=missionaries who go knocking on doors to share the gospel, because the mid-calf length or longer skirt used to be the requirement when I was a sister missionary for our church.) Whatever. I like my mid-calf length skirt, thank you very much! :p
My friend found some vintage heels, and I got a handmade doll. Score! π
Did you go to the Bijou Market?

I think your outfit is very cute! Where did you get that darling skirt?
Jacie Saltzman says
yeah i think that skirt is darling! and im glad a longer skirt is coming back in style. especially because my legs are so long that even knee length skirts are way too short on me.

your outfit is way cute! ha but my husband would totally crack a joke at me like that too. π

good thing jay just supervised at the egg hunt cause by the looks of the pics, it looks like he's outrunning all the kids to get as many eggs as possible.. hahaha

Those pictures of Jay are HILARIOUS. And I'm glad my husband isn't the only one that finds some title to everything I wear. If I am wearing green, i'm tinkerbell. If animal print, I'm a safari guide, floral I'm a grandma. Boys just don't get it. π

Sarah says
You are so sweet, thank you! And that's on my to-do posts, so I will do it for sure one of these days. π
