the LA temple
love these jacaranda trees they have all over southern california!
Hello! I’m writing this from California, I’ve been here for the past 4 days! Jay and I switched off where last week he was gone to HI for a friend’s wedding while I watched the kids and this week, it was my turn to go to California for my cousin’s wedding while Jay is watching the kids. Even though I miss Jay and the kids(a lot more than last time when I went to NY for some reason), it has been really nice spending time with my family here. My parents and all my siblings came from all over the states and with 4 siblings, that doesn’t happen as often as I’d like. And being 7 months pregnant and just relaxing and not having to chase around two little kids is really nice too, I must admit. π I don’t think anything else can beat having a me-time as a mom than taking a relaxing vacation without the kids!
When I’m not on vacation, I find some me-time as a mom by just winding down at night and watching t.v sometimes. I was asked by Lifetime to watch the first episode of their new show Pretty Wicked Moms and I was happy to do so because I watch The Real Housewives of BH and OC, and those shows always cracks me up. The moms in Pretty Wicked Moms lives seem so different than mine, and it’s interesting watching other moms and how they go about their day and all their dramas they have. It makes me glad that I don’t have any drama in my life right now! (knock on wood π You can watch the preview of their show here:
Tune in to watch parenting like you’ve never seen before with the first episode of Pretty Wicked Moms on Tuesday, June 4, at 10:00 pm ET/PT on Lifetime “

here are the rest of the pictures from when we were in california
1-4: fabric district in LA, 5: church, 6-8: beach, 9-10: shopping at the mall, 11-13: pool
12: cousins 13-15: kidspace children’s museum 16: three princesses
13: have i ever told you my girls have no fear? especially my little one. i swear
they’re like raising two boys. except more clingy, moody, sensitive, and emotional. π
this picture is of little a after she jumped into the water w/o any support
while i was putting big a into a tube. i looked to my right at little a and she was
under the water, waving her arms frantically in the air. i quickly grabbed her
and she cried and even threw up the water she swallowed. π
i was sure she was done with swimming after that but nope, she played in the
water happily for 30 mins. and then fell asleep on my shoulders,
probably hashed from the trauma she just experienced.
ah, the many moments of almost- heart attacks they give me.
p.s: i had so much fun at the fabric district. i think they should get one in utah, don’t you? π

I grew up going to that church building! Did you go inside? They have a huge stainted glass wall of the painting of Christ at the Door. It's a wonderful building!

Looks like a fun trip. I am sure that someone has asked this in some of your older posts, but I am a new follower. What do you use to put the cute "old-timey" boarder and look to your pictures? I love how classic they turn out. They remind me of my childhood pictures.

The menu of nyc Israeli restaurant includes a wide choice of fish, seafood, grilled meat dishes, many side dishes, and excellent salads. Fresh shrimp and squid, mussels and crayfish, lamb kebab and chicken steak, lamb ribs, and beef entrecote steak are waiting for you here. And of course, fish. Fish cooked in every possible way: baked with lemon sauce and olive oil, served as carpaccio, and baked in salt, grilled, and deep-fried. Stone bass and sea bream, salmon and mullet, sea bass and tilapia, horse mackerel, and humpback.
