Where on earth do you find the time to sew and blog along with everything else that you do?

I sew about once a week(at the most), and it's on the weekends, usually on a saturday afternoon for 2-3 hours while my husband watches the kids.  I tried sewing in the middle of the day during the weekdays but with my kids running around, asking me to do stuff for them every minute, and them coming and tugging my fabric and wanting to help, yeah, that was the last time I tried sewing on the weekday. :)  I get this question a lot and it makes me wonder, does it seem like I sew a ton?  Because 2-3 hours a week is the most I can squeeze in my schedule!

As with blogging, I blog at night after I put the kids to sleep, and clean up the house or when the kids are at school or playing with their friends.  When they were little, I never blogged while they were awake and in the home with me, but as they're getting older and going to school or playing with their friends for hours at a time, I have more flexibility in my schedule now!  I also own a little headband store, but let's be honest.  No one buys them, so there's hardly any time that goes into that, haha.  I started the store mainly for myself and my girls and to give it as gifts to friends and family, so I'm totally fine putting it in the back burner.  I limit my time I spend with social network, and the only one I use regularly is Instagram, which I update maybe couple times a week.

What type of a sewing machine do you use?

I own a Husqvarna Viking.  My mother got it for me in High School when I told her I wanted to be a fashion designer when I get older(along with a karaoke machine in Jr.High when I told her I wanted to be a singer someday).  It's a very basic sewing machine but it does the job.

How do you stay so fit/slim after two kids, what is your exercise regimen?

Ha!  I wouldn't actually call myself "fit", but thank you!  And since you asked and I will be completely honest, I don't exercise.  But I really should.  Having two kids a year apart and breastfeeding both of them until they were about a year would do that to anyone, especially if you had two kids in your earlier 20's.

What is your skin regimen?

I'm trying to write a post about this.  I try a lot of new products so when I have a definite, trusted skin regiment, I'll be sure to share!

I have an item of clothing that needs to be updated/I was wondering if you could sew for me. Are you available to hire?

Due to the number of requests and the busy schedule, I only accept collaboration inquiries at this time.  I have a very hard time saying no, but with this one I have to be firm, or else I'd be sewing all day for others and not get stuff done in my personal life. It wouldn't be fair to say yes to only a select few people, so I do have to say no to all. My apologies!

Do you actually wear the clothes you've DIY'ed?

Yes!  Some of my favorite clothing items I like to wear are the ones I've made/altered.  Some I wear more than others, but I do wear almost all of them myself.

What breed is your dog?

He's a Shiba Inu.  He's the smallest breed of a husky.

What does c/o mean?

All items I receive at free of charge are noted with a "c/o" the first time I post them.  It means I was given the products courtesy of the companies I've partnered with.  All c/o items are items I've chosen myself, and never have I or will I ever receive products just because they are free, but only if I get to choose the products myself and I find that they fit my style and aesthetic. Please note that I may use  affiliated links once in awhile, which means if you click on the site and make a purchase, I will make a small commission.

*I also accept collaboration inquiries and product reviews on a case by case basis.  Please keep in mind that I'm very, very selective with product reviews, and will only work with companies that I really love and would recommend to my family & best friends.  If the experience is negative with the product, a review will not be written.

What kind of a camera do you use?

When I'm feeling up to carrying my huge camera to take nice pictures, I use a Canon rebel xti with a Canon zoom lense EF 24-70mm f/2.8.  But most of the time, I just use my $100 Nikon point-and-shoot camera I got from Sam's Club.

Where did you get all those animal beanies that's shown on your blog header?

My husband's is from Shopko, Mine is from F21, and the girls' are both from Target.

What nationality are you and your husband?

I'm Korean.  I have a little bit of Indian in me too(my great+ grandmother was a princess from India, I know, random right?).  My husband is mostly Chinese, and then a bit of Caucasian, Hawaiian, and Irish.

How tall are you?

I'm 5 feet 3 1/2 inches tall.
