striped chiffon top | jeans: 7 for all mankind
I tried to get a picture with Aiden but he would not stand still! He’s 15 months and this stage is my favorite stage but also the hardest stage for me. 15 months to about 2 1/2 yrs. old. I love that they can’t talk back, and they’re just learning to talk and every word they say just melts my heart but it’s hard not being able to understand what they want and it’s frustrating for them to not be able to communicate what they want, and they’re too young to negotiate which leads to meltdowns over really little things. But when my kids have major meltdowns and act like their world is over and it seems so funny and ridiculous at the same time, I remind myself that “Hey, this might seem so little but it’s a big deal to them. This is the worst thing that has happened to them in their whole entire life.” Whether it be not getting a second scoop of ice-cream or no 3rd book at bedtime, it”s the worst thing that’s happened to them so far in their lives! Haha, then instead of getting irritated, their overreaction just seems adorable. What a wonderful childhood our kids have these days, right? 🙂
