We started Jay’s birthday by having homemade pancakes for breakfast(which is a big deal when I wake up early to make pancakes, despite waking up with a newborn several times a night and being totally hashed in the morning!) before he went to work. When he got home, we went to eat sushi with our bebes and his brother and one of his best friends. I was way over-dressed compared to the rest of the party but I wanted to wear this new dress(thank you Choies) and as a stay home mom, I don’t get many chances, dang it! After sushi, we came home and had raspberry cheesecake ice-cream cake that I made, which is Jay’s favorite.
For his present, I took headshots of our kids the week before and put it in a 3-framer for him to put on his desk at work. Because you know, the best present I ever gave him was three cute babies. Hope you had a great birthday hun!

Very cute — miss you Sarah! Also, where do you recommend getting sushi around here? I'm always nervous to try new places!

Chelsey, miss you too! We like the Wild Ginger on university ave. in Provo. You should try it! 🙂
