While I was in California, I didn’t take many pictures but just enjoyed spending time with my parents, my siblings(three brothers & one sister), and my sister’s nephew and nieces and cousins. I went to the pastry shop twice and filled up on pastries plenty, ate lots of good Korean good, took my cousin’s wedding pictures along with my 7 month baby bump(I’ll probably share some with you later), and came back to my home sweet home, greeted by Jay and the girls with pretty flowers and lots of kisses.
While mommy was away, Jay and the girls had a movie night, baked yummy dessert, bought flowers and visited someone at the hospital, explored the dinosaur museum, got a kid’s meal at McD’s, ate root beer floats, went bowling, played dress-up, had a mismatch shoe day, went to the Kangaroo Zoo, and cuddled choke with daddy.

Hello there! I'm a semi new reader (6 months maybe?) I love your blog, you have great style and you are like the cutest pregnant person ever- no fair! What city in california did you go to? I used to live near the korean district in orange county, but I never made it koreatown LA. I love me some korean bbq and there is nothing good I can find up here in Norcal!

That naengmyun looks delicious! It's been one of the few things I've really been craving, but there's only one place that makes it well in my area. How sweet of your girls to greet you with flowers, but more importantly, kisses. π

Sounds like you all had a great time!

I crave it all the time now especially since it's so hot these days! You're lucky you at least live by one place that makes it good, I don't live near any place that makes it. π

I was in Cerritos, Pasadena and Korea Town in LA. I wish I knew of good Korean bbq places I could recommend in Norcal!

Nicole – Samwon BBQ in Oakland is pretty good. π Not sure what part of NorCal you're located in though. OZ is the go-to BBQ place in Sacramento for most people, but I'm not too crazy about it. It's all-you-can-eat, but all the meat and banchan is very sweet because it's more Americanized.
