Jay sent me this video the other day with the title of the email, “You are a mean mommy.”.
Haha, I just couldn’t resist. And excuse my baby-talk-mommy-high-pitched voice!
Ana’s been super sensitive since the day she was born. Even as a newborn when she would sleep all day and magically be wide awake, screaming and crying the whole time and pooping every 20 mins. from 12-6 a.m every single night for the first two weeks(best time of my life!), I would tell her, “Ana, no, go back to bed.” and even though I said it very gently and quietly, she would bawl her eyes out every time. But as I’m watching this video, I can’t help but to have my heart melt as I see her cute bald head and that round face! And this is probably because I’m her mother, but even her cries are so cute and not at all annoying.
Oh…. my girls. Do you have daughters that are really sensitive also? Or sons? Is this a girl thing?
p.s. welcome my newest sponsor Wooden Palms!

Being sensitive is not a girl thing. If you read the book you'll see why π

Ha, no, my daughter has all the sensitivity of a mountain troll, but it's so fun to see how my kids' different personalities interact with each other. (I have four).
So cute, I love the video!

My daughter, Lucy (4), is a total drama queen and over emotional little snot. Yes, I called my daughter a little snot, but she's the cutest, smartest, funniest and sweetest snot ever!

Haha, I love you for calling your little daughter a snot, my daughters can be snots too sometimes! But so cute nonetheless. π

SOme of my friends say the same thing! I guess it just differs on the person. And oh man, they do get crazy when they're teenagers, so what does that mean with mine? haha

Worthy, thank you so much! I've been meaning to find a book on parenting, I'm going to order it right now! π

I've been a long time reader but like to stay on the quiet side. I'll admit, it was your diy creativity that brought me to your blog. I have to say that what keeps bringing me back to the blog are these little glimpses into your life and these precious moments –whether they are good or bad, these moments of strength or vulnerability as a parent, I completely admire your candor in sharing it with us all. Your posts are thoughtful and bring a smile to my day. Keep writing and being an awesome mommy and woman!!
